Protestant denominations members who are thinking of having their funeral
conducted by our Pastor of St. Peter are asked to do the following steps.

Some points that you should consider before making this decision:

U Inform the clergy of their particular church to get a release.
U  Put their desire in writing (Living Will or similar).
U Notify the next closest relative about this desire and empower him/her to deliver this desire to the Pastor.
U Convey your desire to have a funeral conducted by the Pastor of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church to him/her in person.
U The Pastor reviews each case and makes a final decision.

Another way to earn the right for a St. Peter funeral
is to be become a member of the Church:

Christians of other denominations who are considering membership in the Lutheran Church are required to take classes in order to learn the basics, accept, and believe in the Evangelical Lutheran Church confession of Faith before being approved as members by the council.
