WHAT
IS HOLY WEEK?
The
last week of Lent is
known as Holy Week. During this holiest time of the
liturgical
year, the church relives the final week of our Lord's
life. The high points of this week
are Palm Sunday - Maundy Thursday - Good Friday, and the Great
Vigil.
At Transfiguration Sunday
(Last Sunday
in Epiphany )
text "buries"
the use of "Alleluia"
during the Lenten season until our
"Alleluias" resound again
on Easter Sunday
